Fernando Moncho Lobo

Fernando Moncho Lobo is a founding partner of BAU Advisors, established in 2015. He oversees the firm’s European focused investment strategies. Prior to BAU Fernando was one of the founding partners of Antarctica Asset Management (2001 – 2015), a global fund of hedge funds group, and, was in charge of the London operation. Prior experience includes JP Morgan (1992 - 2000) – Head of Equity Derivatives Structuring and Marketing, Latin America (New York) – Investment Banking (New York, Hong Kong, Madrid). He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, BA with Honors in Economics 1991.

Francisco Salonia-Ruzo

Francisco Salonia-Ruzo is a founding partner of BAU Advisors, established in 2015. He oversees the firm’s US focused investment strategies. Prior to BAU Francisco was one of the founding partners of Antarctica Asset Management (2001 – 2016), a global fund of hedge funds group, and was in charge of the New York operation. Prior experience includes JP Morgan (1997 - 2001) – New Markets Domain, LabMorgan (New York) – Equity Derivatives Marketing, Latin America (New York) and Price Waterhouse (1991 - 1995), Financial Regulatory Group (Washington DC). He is a graduate of University of Chicago, Booth School of Business - MBA 1997 and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, BS in Business Administration 1991.

Guy Vesey

Guy Vesey focuses on museum advisory, art investing, art lending and arts management. Guy is currently focussed on a new museum concept which is in the works in Spain, opening 2023/4. He also acts as an advisor to BAU’s trusted partner Stoneweg S.A. in museum related matters. Guy has an extensive global career in auction houses, including Phillips in London as Head of Business Development and Marketing and Museum Partnerships, Europe (2016-2020), Christie’s Auction House, Managing Director, Christie’s Russia & Central Asia (2011-2016), Bonham’s Auctioneers, Middle East Regional Director (2009-2011). Prior to this Guy was concurrently a Director of Simon C. Dickinson Gallery in London and Michael Carr Art Dealer, Sydney, Australia (2006-2009) during which time Guy co-founded the first Western Art Consultancy based in Moscow. Guy holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Organisational Leadership from Oxford University and an MA Hons. in Art History from the University of St Andrews.
